Gökçin Aras Commemorated with Respect and Longing on the 2nd Anniversary of His Death
The founder of ÜÇGE Group Companies, the late Gökçin Aras, was remembered with respect and longing at the commemoration ceremony organized on the second anniversary of his death.
ÜÇGE Board Chairmen Damla Aras and Can Aras delivered speeches at the memorial ceremony organized in memory of Gökçin Aras at ÜÇGE's Bursa Işıktepe OSB factory. The ceremony was shared across the entire company with simultaneous live broadcast links to ÜÇGE companies in Bursa Kestel, Mustafakemalpaşa, İstanbul, and Germany.
In his speech, Can Aras, Chairman of ÜÇGE, emphasized that his father Gökçin Aras was not only a businessman but also a visionary who lived life with passion, was guided by his ideas, and was deeply committed to his business and his country. He stated that Gökçin Aras started his journey in the business world in 1976 in a small shop in Bursa and that this shop was where his dreams sprouted. Can Aras stated that he always believed in his team's power, saying “Real success cannot be achieved alone”. Aras said, “This structure, which he established with faith and determination, has become a brand that has opened to the world over time. We have the same determination to protect the values he entrusted to us and to make ÜÇGE a leader in the global arena.”
Following Can Aras, Damla Aras, Chairman of ÜÇGE Board of Directors, emphasized in her speech that Gökçin Aras was a visionary who never gave up on pursuing her dreams. Damla Aras stated that Gökçin Aras built her life with courageous steps and laid the foundations of ÜÇGE by starting as a teacher and moving towards her dreams. “Her values and vision will always illuminate our path. Our goal now is to continue this meaningful journey that he laid the foundations for by achieving much greater success. We remember Gökçin Aras, whose longing in our hearts we feel deeply, with endless gratitude and love.”
