ÜÇGE BOTH CELEBRATED 23RD OF APRIL AND COMMEMORATED TEACHER MEHMET ARAS

Teacher Mehmet Aras Primary School in Beşevler district of Bursa hosted the April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day Festival with a special event organized by ÜÇGE Group Companies. Teacher Mehmet Aras, the father of ÜÇGE's founder Gökçin Aras, was commemorated with a meaningful ceremony on the 12th anniversary of his death.

ÜÇGE Grup Şirketleri, merhum Gökçin Aras tarafından babası Öğretmen Mehmet Aras için yaptırılan Öğretmen Mehmet Aras İlkokulu’nda, 23 Nisan Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı’na özel bir etkinlik düzenledi. Bursa Nilüfer Kaymakamı Sayın Murat Süzen, Bursa Nilüfer İlçe Jandarma Komutanı Sayın Erdal Aktaş, Bursa Nilüfer İlçe Emniyet Müdürü Sayın Ali Osman Aydın, Nilüfer İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürü Sayın Mehmet Altınok, ÜÇGE Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Sayın Damla Aras, ÜÇGE Grup Şirketleri CEO’su Sayın Esra Güven, merhum Mehmet Aras’ın kızları Sayın Nezahat Aras Başo, Sayın Bircan Şenerdem ve torunu Sayın Devrim Tutku Ateş’in de katıldığı etkinlikte çocuklara unutulmaz bir gün yaşatıldı.

April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day Turned into a Feast with Marching Band

While the Marching Band enthusiastically sang popular anthems at the event organized at Teacher Mehmet Aras Primary School, the students experienced the spirit of April 23rd to the fullest, armed with Turkish flags. The valuable teachers of the school shared this happiness by dancing and singing songs with the students. The children enjoyed having fun together and had an experience that they will remember this special day with full memories.

Cotton candy and popcorn machines were set up in the area colored with Turkish flags; in addition, in memory of the deceased teacher Mehmet Aras, lokma was poured in the garden of the school and served to everyone who participated in the event, especially the students.

Teacher Mehmet Aras Remembered

Within the scope of the program, Bursa Nilüfer District Director of National Education Mehmet Altınok delivered a speech emphasizing the importance and value of April 23rd. In this special week, which coincided with the anniversary of the death of the late teacher Mehmet Aras, School Principal Mustafa Ergemici, while highlighting April 23rd in his speech, also commemorated the late teacher Mehmet Aras, who taught in many corners of Anatolia, and thanked ÜÇGE Group Companies for this meaningful day.

ÜÇGE Chairman Damla Aras made a short speech in memory of her grandfather, the late Mehmet Aras, and her father, the late Gökçin Aras, underlining once again the importance that her father and grandfather gave to education and wishing a future in the light of Atatürk's principles and revolutions. Aras ended his speech by congratulating everyone who attended the event on April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

This meaningful event, which took place at the school named after the late Teacher Mehmet Aras, who worked as a teacher in the provinces of Anatolia and always supported the education of children, was intended to be a meaningful day that keeps his memory alive.
