Books of the late Mehmet Aras come to life at Üçevler Nilüfer Library

Books belonging to the late retired teacher Mehmet Aras, father of Üçge Chairman Gökçin Aras, were donated to Üçevler Nilüfer Library. Approximately 300 books in the library of the late Mehmet Aras, who passed away in 2012, were donated to Üçevler Nilüfer Library by the Aras Family. Nilüfer Municipality Library Directorate Library Officer Sercan Çimen thanked the Aras Family for their valuable contribution.

Nilüfer Üçevler Library 

Nilüfer Municipality, which envisages the dissemination of knowledge through the sharing of books, creates areas in different regions of Nilüfer, each with different specialized subjects. The collection of the library, which has the capacity to serve a large population, primarily in Üçevler, Beşevler, Çalı and Konak neighborhoods, includes reference sources, philosophy, psychology, social sciences, religious sciences, applied sciences, personal development, folk literature, personal life and professional development, children's literature, various subjects of history, handicrafts, agriculture and animal husbandry, health, sports, educational technical publications, history-geography guide publications, especially the library of journalist Yüksel Baysal.

Nilüfer Üçevler Library, where lending books, internet access, research consultancy services, workshops and literacy meetings are held, has a total usage area of 700 m2 in a two-storey building. The library is open between 09.00 - 21.00 on weekdays and between 10.00 - 18.00 on weekends.
