ÜÇGE Group Companies organized a special event at its headquarters in Bursa Işıktepe Organized Industrial Zone to celebrate April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day with ÜÇGE employees and their children.
The event, which took place at ÜÇGE Işıktepe OSB center, aimed to provide a fun and educational environment by hosting different workshops that attracted children's interest.
The program started with the speech of Esra Güven, President of ÜÇGE Group Companies. In her speech, Güven emphasized the importance of April 23rd and expressed their happiness to host the April 23rd celebration. Güven also stated that it is very meaningful and valuable for children to see the workplace where their parents work. Following Esra Güven, Damla Balkaya, who is currently the Corporate Communications Specialist at ÜÇGE as a second generation employee, shared her feelings. Balkaya congratulated the April 23rd of the children who came to the event with their families, and said that she had participated in ÜÇGE's April 23rd events as a child, and now she came to the event with her own child. Emphasizing that the April 23rd events at ÜÇGE have continued traditionally from those times until today, she emotionally shared that her journey continued with the April 23rd events in her childhood, with the internship program during her school years and now as a ÜÇGE employee, and once again demonstrated the value ÜÇGE gives to its employees.
After Balkaya's speech, the program started with activities including different workshops accompanied by children's songs. In the garden of the factory decorated with balloons, a body percussion activity accompanied by Body Percussionist Gökçe Gürçay was held. Luna Group, consisting of Uludağ University State Conservatory students Lara Seymen and Gamze Öztoprak, took the stage in ÜÇGE conference hall. Aybige Akca narrated Atatürk's memories with children, his love for the environment and nature, and presented them to all children and their families participating in the event accompanied by classical music. The concert turned into a multi-faceted educational program in which both the unknown stories of Atatürk and classical music instruments were introduced to the children.
During the full program, children had fun with clowns, face painting and sausage balloon making. Participants were offered specially prepared cotton candy, popcorn, traditional Ottoman paste and delicious treats at the tea stand.
ÜÇGE children explored ÜÇGE's production facility with their families and learned about the production process from experts. After this learning experience, the children crowned the day with a delicious hamburger menu with their families.
Having given children an unforgettable day, ÜÇGE ended the event by sending their little friends home with a big smile on their faces and surprise gifts. With this experience, ÜÇGE has left a memory that will be transformed into good memories in children's memories.
