RECYCLING FOR YOUR FUTURE WITH iECO
In Turkey, the Turkish Environment Agency under the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change will start implementing the 'Deposit Management System' in 2024. We have developed the iECO-branded Deposit Return Vending Machines, Public Return Centers and Verification Facilities system and software compatible with this system. This system aims to ensure that empty beverage packages are collected at the source within the scope of the circular economy and recycled to the national economy, to prevent pollution caused by waste, and to increase recycling awareness in society.

In parallel with the climate crisis and its targets, the importance of renewable energy, reduction of carbon footprint, green technology, waste control and realization of circular economy systems is increasing. In order to move forward with a more systematic and comprehensive policy in all our processes that we plan for a sustainable future and to leave a livable world for future generations, we launched our sustainability project in 2022 with the motto "The Future is on Your Trail". Within the scope of the project, we first formed our ÜÇGE sustainability volunteers team consisting of volunteers within the company. Then, as ÜÇGE, we determined our carbon footprint and took action by determining a road map to reduce it. With this project, we want to leave our mark on the future by creating awareness.

EFFICIENCY AWARD WITH 4 ROBOTS AND 11.000 PALLET CAPACITY AS/RS SYSTEM PAŞA
Zorlu Holding Korteks Polyester Yarn factory realized its demand to strengthen its warehouse and shipment processes with autonomous activities with PAŞA, the patented fully automated AS/RS system developed by ÜÇGE DRS with its know-how in robotic industrial storage technologies. With this system, a shelf construction with a capacity of 11,000 pallets was built. Efficiency in the warehouse area was increased with 4 Pallet Stacking Robots PAŞA, each with a capacity of 700 kg and double-depth operation, with a double cycle capacity of 104 pallets per hour. The investment cost of this project comes to a break-even point with manual warehouse alternatives in a very short period of 28 months. ÜÇGE DRS was also awarded the 'Productivity Award' with this project at the award ceremony organized at the 7th Robot Investments Summit.
ÜÇGE PRESENTS IT'S SMART TECHNOLOGIES AT EUROSHOP BROUGHT TOGETHER WITH WORLD RETAIL
ÜÇGE was the first Turkish company to participate in Euroshop, the biggest fair of the retail sector, in 1993 and has been participating in the fair continuously since then. ÜÇGE, which was among the Silver Sponsors of the fair at Euroshop 2023, offered a unique experience platform to the global retail sector in two different booth areas with its new products and solutions, including new generation digital solutions under the blu.xone brand and iECO branded deposit return systems.
